ISA Art Gallery presents 'Biophilia: Shattering Illusion,' an exhibition focused on environmental sustainability, that coincides with the National Waste Awareness Day on
February 21st. The exhibition not only aims to challenge environmental awareness but also celebrates our profound connection to nature. Showcasing a diverse array of
artists, the exhibition unites them under one common mission: the preservation of our planet through imaginative, creative endeavors.

Coined by biologist Edward O. Wilson in 1984, the term "biophilia" signifies the intrinsic human desire to engage with nature. This inclination prompted a deeper inquiry into
the extent to which it supports or harms the ecosystem. Technology and social media also play a significant role in today’s deterioration of ecological health. The heightened
digital visibility of these natural destinations leads to a surge in visitors and local business activities. Coupled with insufficient waste management, we find ourselves in a
predicament where environmental degradation is exacerbated, posing significant threats to the delicate balance of ecosystems.
