“THEM” is an exhibition featuring 17 artists that explore the intersectionality between identity, gender and societal expectations. These artists utilize their work to heighten public consciousness and advocate for transformation, bridging the introspection and examination of the self as well as external perceptions. Coming from varied backgrounds, the artists represent a spectrum of ethnicities, cultural traditions, religions, and sexual orientations. The participating artists comprise Aiman, Alexander Hernandez, Ardi Gunawan, Davion Alston, Dzikra Afifah, Ezzam Rahman, Ghost Mountain Field, Grim Park, Henryette Louise, Jackson Farley, James Nguyen, Monique Yim, Naraphat Sakarthornsap, Sack Tin Lim, S. Klitgaard, Tamarra, and Vinny Castro.

The concept of intersectionality, as articulated by Kimberlé Crenshaw, serves as a guiding principle throughout the exhibition. Intersectionality concludes that various aspects of identity such as race, gender, sexuality, and class are interacting and overlapping with each other. Through various mediums like painting, sculpture, performance, and photography, the artists confront preconceived notions, questioning the rigidity of gender roles and highlighting the fluidity and multifaceted nature of identity—shared both within the individuals and the collective.

At its core, "THEM" is a call to action—a call to embrace empathy and understanding. By acknowledging and celebrating the complexity and diversity inherent in human identities, we encourage visitors to reflect on their own journeys and consider how they navigate their identities within the broader social context.
